Don Maximiano Founder´s Reserve 2021 awarded outstanding 98 points in the 2024 Descorchados Guide

Patricio Tapia, the renowned Chilean wine journalist and critic, announced the scores for South America's foremost wine guide Descorchados 2024 in mid-November.

On this occasion, Don Maximiano Founder´s Reserve 2021, Viña Errázuriz’s emblematic Cabernet Sauvignon-based iconic wine, gained double recognition with its 98 points, ranking as the Best from Aconcagua and tying in first place for Best Red Blend. This wine is notable for reflecting the visionary and pioneering spirit that has endured through six generations, over the years consolidating the winery as a benchmark for the quality and image of fine wines in Chile and around the world.

The following wines were also singled out: Las Pizarras Chardonnay 2022 (97 pts – Best Chardonnay Ranking), KAI 2021 (95 pts – Best Carmenère Ranking), Las Pizarras Pinot Noir 2022 (95 pts – Best Pinot Noir Ranking), Las Pizarras Syrah 2022 and La Cumbre 2021 (both with 94 pts – Best Syrah Ranking).
