Viña Errázuriz and APAS: a day of connection through tradition, innovation and outstanding wines

On Wednesday 25 June, Viña Errázuriz welcomed a delegation of approximately 150 representatives from the Associação Paulista de Supermercados (APAS) — one of the most influential retail associations in Brazil, representing over 4,000 supermarkets across the state of São Paulo.
The visit offered a carefully curated experience designed to share our vision, our heritage, and above all, the winemaking excellence that defines us.

A strong start: Wine & Brand Fair

The day began at the historic estate house of Viña Errázuriz, where our CEO, Adolfo Hurtado, formally welcomed the APAS delegation. In his opening remarks, he shared insights into the group’s legacy, the philosophy behind our brands, and the significance of this meeting with key leaders of Brazilian retail.
This was followed by the Wine & Brand Fair, a tailor-made space that allowed guests to discover up close and personally the most representative selections from our portfolio: Seña, Errázuriz, Caliterra, and Arboleda.

The impact was immediate. Guests praised the diversity, depth, and character of the wines, highlighting not only their outstanding quality but also the distinct identity of each brand and project.

Featured wines:

  • Errázuriz: Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve 2022, KAI 2021, La Cumbre 2019, MAX Malbec, MAX Cabernet Sauvignon, MAX Sauvignon Blanc
  • Caliterra: Tributo Carmenere, Mezcla Tinta, Pétreo Malbec
  • Arboleda: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
  • Seña: Seña 2021, Rocas de Seña 2021

This session was key to communicating the unique character and positioning of each brand, combining innovation, origin, and deep knowledge of the Chilean terroir.

A journey through history and terroir

The visit continued with a guided tour through the most iconic areas of Viña Errázuriz. Led by the team at Viñedos Familia Chadwick, the group explored the Historic Cellar, a living symbol of our 1870 foundation; the Icon Winery, home to our most emblematic wines; and the Vineyard Lookout, offering a panoramic view of the landscape that inspires our winemaking.

Strengthening ties with Brazil

This visit was a valuable opportunity to reinforce our relationship with one of Latin America’s most dynamic and important markets. The warm reception from APAS and its members reaffirms the relevance and appeal of our brands in a country that continues to open up to Chilean wine.

At Viña Errázuriz, we believe in building long-term partnerships, and this day was a meaningful reflection of that commitment.
