Local phone calls
There are public phone booths throughout the city. To make a call from a
public booth, you will need a 100 pesos coin or, preferably, a card
bought in kiosks which are usually near phone booths.
International phone calls
Making international calls from Chile is cheap and the service is
efficient. In Chile you may choose from a number of carriers to call
long-distance. Try to use the public phone in the lobby or the public
phone booths. Most commercial and shopping centers have international
call centers where you can obtain information, make collect calls or buy
calling cards.
