Kai 2011
Dark purple. Explosive black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by candied licorice, Indian spices and a hint of incense. Deeply concentrated and focused, offering sweet blackcurrant and boysenberry liqueur flavors that gain vivacity and spiciness with air. This broad, intensely flavored wine shows very good clarity on the long spicy, floral finish, which is shaped by sweet, harmonious tannins.
– Joshua Raynolds, June 2015.

La Cumbre 2011
Glass-staining ruby. Aromas of ripe dark fruits spice cake and potpourri, with a smoky mineral element adding vivacity. Sweet, palate-coating blackberry and lavender pastille flavors become livelier and spicier with air and show excellent clarity. Suave, seamless and appealingly sweet, finishing with outstanding energy and supple tannins that fold smoothly into the wine’s dense fruit.
– Joshua Raynolds, June 2015.

Aconcagua Costa Chardonnay Best Rated-Chilean Chardonnay.
Aconcagua Costa Chardonnay 2014

Pale yellow-gold. A highly perfumed, complex bouquet evokes ripe pear, white peach, anise, buttered toast and jasmine. Fleshy, broad and dry on the palate, offering energetic orchard and pit fruit flavors and a bracing jolt of bitter citrus zest. Shows very good depth as well as vivacity and finishes on a chalky mineral note, with strong persistence and an echo of smokiness.
– Joshua Raynolds, June 2015.
