VIÑA ERRÁZURIZ AND TORONTO’S LEÑA RESTAURANT FIRED UP SOUTH AMERICAN FLAVOURS!

A thrilling and successful wine dinner with Viña Errázuriz wines was celebrated on October 18th at famed Leña Restaurante in Toronto, the newest venture of celebrated Chef Anthony Walsh for Oliver & Bonacini, sponsored by Visa, Globe & Mail and Bocaccini Group. 80 top clients enjoyed an exclusive dining experience as part of the Visa Dining Series, described as exceptional culinary experiences, exhilarating new projects led by Canada’s most famous chefs and the country’s most highly anticipated new restaurants. Wines poured included Estate Series Chardonnay 2015, Aconcagua Alto Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, and our full Aconcagua Costa Range.

 

VIÑA ERRÁZURIZ: OFFICIAL WINERY AT RIMOUSKI JAZZ FESTIVAL

From August 31st to September 4th, Viña Errázuriz was part of the great celebrations at Le Festi Jazz International de Rimouski, Québec, being the official wine sponsor of the event. The festival included 40.000 people enjoying 300 artists, 60 jazz shows and of course “La Buvette Errázuriz” a bar éphémère serving a wide and varied range of Errázuriz wines selected in collaboration with the acclaimed wine journalist Jean Francois Demers. Errázuriz wines have been also the perfect accompaniment during a jazz seminar led by the writer and popular radio conductor Stanley Péan and during the concert of the Belgian jazz composer Jef Neve.

 

VIÑA ERRAZURIZ MASTER CLASS @ WILLOW PARK WINE AND SPIRITS

On September 2nd, our VP of Sales and Marketing for North America Michel Couttolenc, became the special host for an incredible evening showcasing the exciting expressions of wines from Viña Errázuriz. Michel lead guests through a fantastic lineup of wines coming from inland and coastal vineyards of the Errázuriz Estate, all enjoyed by wine enthusiasts.

 

NATALIE MACLEAN ON DON MAXIMIANO 2013

Wine writer Natalie MacLean recently published her review for Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve 2013, which described as highly recommended and chosen as Best wine to pair with beef: “This wine is the full package: spectacular dark fruit flavour, great structure and a finish that (almost) lasts until you open the next bottle (you hope). DON’T MISS! UPCOMING EVENTS

NOV 1st: Chilean Wine & Food Festival @ Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. With the premise “Love Wine, Love Chile! Discover the Flavours of Chile”, around 120 wines from 26 Chilean wineries will be available for tasting in this exciting event. Guests will be treated to a truly rare cultural experience as they discover, taste and learn about the world of Chilean wine, while enjoying Chilean fusion cuisine and meet with representatives from the wineries as they sample from an array of red and white varietals.

NOV 3, 4, 5: La Grande Dégustation de Montréal. Each edition highlights three inspiring themes, which allow visitors to learn about a wine region, a wine variety and a featured product. For 2016, one of the main themes will be Chile. Plus, Eduardo Chadwick, Viña Errázuriz’s President, will be participating in one of the seminars focused on Terroir, presenting the winery’s flagship wine Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve.
