The latest edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards competition underscored the Viña Errázuriz Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir 2013 as the Best Chilean Pinot Noir over £ 15.

Judged in a blind tasting by the top wine experts from around the globe, Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir from Aconcagua Valley was found to be “the best example of its type within its region” achieving a Regional Trophy among the Gold Medal winners.

“This Pinot Noir is the result of many years of dedication to achieve the style that I was looking for in this challenging variety. To reach it I have made some significant adjustments in our vineyard management and winemaking techniques. The Pinot Noir Aconcagua Costa 2013 is the first version of this new style that I have been seeking.” Francisco Baettig, Head Winemaker.

*The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), established in 2004 by the renowned UK wine critic Steven Spurrier, is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition and is trusted internationally for its rigorous judging process.
